A Message from Our President, Pamela Edwards
The Sarasota County Gator Club® is officially organized through the University of Florida National Alumni Association to help advance, and promote the general welfare and interests of the University of Florida as an educational institution, foster a spirit of loyalty, unity, and cooperation among its graduates, former students, friends and to foster, promote and help develop the excellence and stature of the University.
Our goal at the Sarasota County Gator Club® is to meet those objectives - and have a lot of fun in the process! I and the other newly elected officers and board members have been busy planning for this coming year's programs and meetings to achieve those objectives (especially the fun part).
In addition to satisfying our intense interest in Gator football, we will hear from speakers and coaches representing other sports and we will also have programs geared toward the academic side of the University. If you would like to hear a particular speaker or have a program devoted to a specific topic, let me or the other board members know. We hope to offer something for every Gator in our area. Please join us now in what we hope will be the most exciting year yet for our club. We welcome your suggestions and help in making our Gator Club® the best there is -- Go Gators!
