Carlos Thomas is a 4* WR/DB prospect from College Park, GA. The recruitment on Carlos Thomas starting out with leaders: Georgia Tech, Georgia, Florida, LSU, and Ohio State among many others. Those were his main teams. After going to a Georgia Tech Football Game, He committed to the Yellow Jackets. Since then, things have fallen apart between him and the Jackets. It's kind of like last year with UF and Lance Legget I guess you could say. Carlos has De-Committed from the Yellow Jackets and has opened up his recruitment. In recent interviews done by Scout.com and Rivals.com, Carlos says he is interested in the Florida Gators. Carlos will be attending some Gator Practice's in the Georgia Dome likely to get a feel of what the team is like, etc. He say's he will decide between Georgia and Florida as to who gets the Final Visit. IMO, I think he will visit with the Gators. Florida is recruiting Carlos as a WR, But, if needed he can play DB, which UF needs. This will be a RollerCoaster? ride until the end and we will probably not get a decision until NSD. It would be a nice pick-ip for the Gators if we could land Carlos.
