Soft Verbal To Virginia

DG is a 6-3, 230-pound, 3 star linebacker from Roanoke, Virginia. His dad(Daryl Sr.) was a Gator basketball player in the early 80s. Gresham has been a soft verbal commitment to Virginia for quite some time but word is the Gators have a real shot. His highlight film is very impressive and scouting reports describe him as a player that is "everywhere on the football field. Perhaps his most impressive attribute is his tackling. Once he hits you, you go down. He has good speed, moves well both north-south and laterally and good size (6-3,230). He fights off blocks well and finds the ball."

This kid would fill an obvious need for the Gators in this year's class. He has great size and nice speed. Per scouting reports and his film, he is a tackling machine. He is scheduled to visit UF the weekend of Jan 7th-9th. Many feel that it would not be a surprise at all if he ends up signing with the Gators.
