-OJ Murdock stated that if everything checks out in Gainesville this weekend he will go ahead and make a public commitment to the Gators.
-Tony Wright will have to go the JUCO (Coffeyville, KS) route.
-Matt Hardrick says he's 50/50 between UF and FSU. I still think he's a nole, probably JUCO first.
-Richard Gordon says "It's looking like Florida right now" but will still visit Miami this weekend.
-Vlad Richard says he is still a gator commitment but an iffy one. Meyer had an inhome visit last night. Hopefully he will visit this weekend and will seal the deal.

-Dorian Munroe, Miami Coral Reef, FL 4 star ( #11 S) switched from FSU to UF tonight.
-Eric Sledge, Apopka, FL 3 star ( # 64 WR) switched committments from South Carolina to UF.
-Ryan Stamper, Jax First Coast, FL 4 star (# 10 LB) switched from Auburn to UF tonight.
-Jonathan Phillips, Wellington, FL 3 star (NR K) switched from Purdue to UF tonight.
-Matt Hardrick had a very good visit, also said he think Antone Smith is gainesville-bound.
-Antone Smith said he's impressed with UF's academics, but was tight-lipped about his future. Look for some good news regarding him and/or Moore and/or RJ Jackson, as Mikel Simpson was dropped by us.
-Kestahn Moore has us in top 2 with Oklahoma State.
-Jeffrey Owens gave his visit a 9.5, rumors are he might be a gator.
-Roche gave his visit a 9, said a lot of kids committed, which turned out to be true :)
-Murphy and Baker reaffirmed their committments.

-Lorenzo Jones, a 3* DT from Texas, decommitted from Nebraska and is now considering Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and UF. Texas A&M and UF are vying for his last visit on 1/28. Mattison is working on him.
-Chris Chancellor, a 3* CB from Miami, is trying to set up a visit to UF this weekend. He has already taken official visits to FSU, Rutgers, Oklahoma State and Clemson. His brother Demerick recently committed to Clemson.
-Brian Ellis, a 3* TE from Daytona Beach, is trying to get his cousin, Brandon Siler, to put in a good word with the coaches. He hasn't set up a visit yet but says he wants to go to UF. He hasn't talked to Meyer and the new staff yet.
-Calvin Wilson, a 3* OL from Mississippi, has committed to Miss. St. and says he is cancelling his 1/28 visit to UF.
-Quentez Ruffin, a 2* OL from Tallahassee, is considering UF now. He is a Clemson commit.
-Quinton Andrews, a 3* S/WR from Miami, is doen to W. Virginia and UF.
-The package deal of RJ Jackson, a 4* RB from Texas , and Brandon La Fell, a 4* WR from Texas (same HS), are now down to UF and LSU. Both will be visiting 1/28.
-Just an FYI, former UF commit, Jonathan Garner, committed to Ga. Tech.
-Patrick Turner commits to Southern Cal. over the Vols. I guess

-Damarcus Granger, 5* dt from Dallas Kimball HS will visit UF on Jan.28. He still has OU as his leader, but we are in his top 4.

- Avery Atkins met with Coach Meyer tonight. He told him that he doesn't have to worry about him, He is a Gator. He may have to get his grades up. GET THOSE GRADES UP AVERY, WE NEED YOU.
- Carlos Thomas said that he is committed to South Carolina, but, he may still take his visit to Florida. He will decide this week.
- Darryl Gresham says that Coach Locksley leaving has no affect on him going to Florida. IMO, he is a Gator lock.
- Simon Codrington gave the Gators a "10" on his visit to Florida. He really likes Coach Meyer.
- Calvin Wilson met with Coach Addazio today. He was suppose to meet with Coach Meyer as well, but, Coach couldn't make it. He says Coach Meyer will stop by next week. He will decide this weekend or next week whether or not he will committ to MSU or go visit Florida. His Top 2 are Mississippi State and Florida.
- Jon Demps met with Coach Meyer tonight and said he was very impressed. He says Auburn may have a Slight edge, but, he will give Florida every chance to change him. I think he is a Gator in the end. JMO.
-The big 3 of Jeff Owens,Vlad Richard, and Gerald Williams will visit uf on Jan.28! Owens has cancelled his visit from UM,probably because Um doesnt have room for them. Only, problem here is,he has a teammate from Plantation already committed to the dawgs.

He cancelled all of his visits.
- Avery Atkins has a new Top 2: Florida and Florida State. Notice everytime he changes his Top Teams, UF is always there.
- Gerald Williams did NOT visit UGA this weekend with Vladimir Richard.
- Doug Worthingham took a visit to UF this weekend. He didn't seem all that impressed giving the Gators a 7 out of 10. Look for him to Sign with Ohio State.
- Simon Codrington had a great visit to Florida. Down to Florida, Florida State, North Carolina State and West Virginia. Look for him to be a Gator.
- Meyer met with Dorian Munroe tonight. Munroe says he is still committed to Florida State. He visits to Florida this weekend. Down to UF and FSU.
- Ricky Jean Francois says that he will likely not visit Florida this weekend. Tennessee and Florida State lead for this monster. JUCO for him wherever he signs.
- Eugene Hayes committed to Tennessee.
- Rumor has it Kendrick Stewart committed to Urban Meyer. Still waiting on confirmation....
- Corey Moon committed to Georgia.
- Bryan Evans is down to UGA, LSU, Tennessee and Florida State. IMO he is a Bulldog.
- Ryan Stamper who is committed to Auburn, says that Florida is making a late push for his services. Coach Meyer and Coach Strong met with him tonight trying to set up a visit for the 21st. He said he doesn't know yet if he will make that visit.
- Calvin Wilson says that he almost committed to Mississippi State this weekend on his visit. He will decide this week on whether or not he will committ to the Dogs. If he does, (Which I think he will) then he will cancel all of his visits.
- Derek Shaw, former committment to Miami, committed to Arizona State.
- Jerome Hayes says that he may make his pledge soon. He is down to Florida, Penn State and Rutgers.
- Mikell Simpson says that he had a great visit to Florida. He will annouce his decison on National Signing Day.

- Andrew Friedman, Kicker from Mobile, AL, committed to Alabama.
- Antone Smith visited Miami this weekend. He said "It was good". Antone is keeping everything very very quiet.
- Jon Demps said that his trip to Auburn was very good. He said that they could be his leader. He will still visit UF on 1/28.
- Vladimir Richard visited Georgia this weekend. He said he had a headache from the plane ride. lol. He is visiting Florida on the 28th. Which is very good news. Look for him to be a Gator.

DeSean? Jackson is down to USC, Cal, Florida and LSU. He admits that Cal and USC are his favorites and are way out ahead. But, he says he will give Florida and LSU every chance to change his mind. IMO He will play MLB Baseball. He is expected to be a 1st Round Pick. We shall see....
- Brian Cushing says its USC, Florida, Miami and Notre Dame. He says USC leads and if they WOW him on his visit, they will be VERY hard to beat. He then visits Miami and finishes up with Florida. Pray Gators, we need this kid BAD. VERY BAD.
- Chris Scott is down to Florida and Tennnessee. He says he will go home and talk it over with his family. It will come down to the school with the better engineering programs. That will make his decision for him. Florida looks in good shape. He should annouce in around 2 weeks.
- David Nelson is down to Florida, Iowa, and Notre Dame. He visits Florida on the 21st and will committ around the 25th. Most say the Gators are his favorite. I hope we get him but, IMO, He is going to go to Iowa. We will see....

- Vladimir Richard will visit Georgia this weekend. Although Vlad and his friend Gerald Williams want to go to the same school together and they likely will, Gerald Williams did not take a visit to Georgia this weekend with Vlad. They are both committed to Florida.

DeMarcus? Granger was suppose to annouce at the Army All-American All Star game, but, it appears that he won't. He says that Florida is trying to get back into the mix and he is trying to decide whether he wants to take a visit to Florida.
- Derek Shaw, QB from Oceanside, CA has decommitted from Miami, saying that when he was at the Cali-Florida All Star game, He realized how much he would miss his family. Arizona State appears to be the Front Runner.
- Tavares Kearney, LB from Tucker, GA was scheduled to visit Florida on January 28th. He now says that he hasn't decided whether or not he will make the visit or not.
- All the visitors made it in this weekend. They are Mikell Simpson, Doug Worthingham, and Simon Codrington. Roy Upchurch was scheduled to visit this weekend, but it appears that he has fallen off our radar.
- David Nelson has rescheduled his visit to Florida to January 21th after cancelling his visit to UCLA.
- OJ Murdock has cancelled his visit to UT. This likely means that UT will land Patrick Turner. OJ is also visiting South Carolina this weekend.

- As Gatorcountry reported earlier, Defensive Coordinator Charlie Strong will remain with the Florida Gators and not accept a position with North Carolina State.
- RJ Jackson a 4 star RB from Houston, TX said that even though Mike Locksley has left Florida for Illinois, that will not make his decison any different. Its a Florida/LSU battle is this one. Florida gets the last visit on 1/28.
- Antone Smith is said to be favoring Auburn over Miami and Florida.
- Bryan Evans said today in an interview with scout.com that his teams are Tennessee, Georgia, Florida State, and LSU. He went on to say that Florida tried to get back in it, but it may be too little to late. He will visit Illinois on 1/28. I don't believe that Florida is out of it, but I think he goes to Illinois, again JMO.
- Patrick Turner 5 star WR from Madison, TN says that his final two are UT and USC. Look for him to committ to UT.

- Roy Upchurch a 3 star RB from Tallahassee, FL says that he will still visit Florida this weekend 1/14.
- Nyan Boateng is expected to make his final decision on Saturday at the AA Game. Florida and Nebraska are his Top 2. Look for him to a Gator.
- Chris Scott was suppose to make a decision at the game. Some say he will, some say he won't. From reports, he will be a Gator as well. If the reports are true, this is a HUGE pickup.
- Jerome Hayes says that with Mike Locksley leaving Florida it may affect his decison.

McPhearson will visit Clemson this weekend 1/14, then will visit VA. Tech on 1/21. His last visit will be to Florida on 1/28. Also, he said that Locksley leaving doesn't affect his decison and he is still a Gator.
- Tavares Kearney a 4 star LB from Tucker, GA, says that his Top 4 are Ohio State, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. He visited South Carolina on 1/7 and will visit Ohio State on 1/14. He will visit Florida, once we get the date we will post ASAP.

- Lawrence Wilson, DE from Ohio, visited UF (Wed-Fri). He favors UF and Ohio State.
- RB Conredge Collins list a top 4 of NC State, Ohio State, Florida State, and Florida.
- OL Chris Scott (Lovejoy, GA) has a final 2: Florida and Tennessee.
- OL Quinton Brown (Orlando Edgewater) has 2 favorites, FSU and NC State, but UF is quickly gaining.
