OJ is one of the best Propects in the state of Florida as well as the nation. He will a tall and very fast WR. Miami and Floirda were leading in the beginning with Miami having the edge. That changed when OJ starting talking to Coach Ron Zook and staff and it appeared Floirda was leading for his services. When Ron Zook was fired, OJ was very upset and removed Floirda from his list of schools. Since the hiring of Head Coach Urban Meyer, things have changed for this Florida Star. In an interview done by Leo Issak (MajorGator?), OJ mentioned that Coach Meyer came to his school for a visit and OJ was very impressed. He had this to say about Coach Meyer, "He's a cool dude," said O.J. Murdock. "He's an outstanding man. I didn't really know much about him except what I read or seen on the news and stuff like that. But he's a great person...he's a great person to meet with and a great person to talk to. Period." OJ later said that Florida was back in the running for his services. This very good news for Gator fans. With the receivers we have on the team now having a chance at landing Derrick Williams and OJ Murdock, and with commitments Louis Murphy and Derek McPhearson on board. The University Of Florida looks very bright for the future at WR.

12/23 UPDATE:

Interview with Rivals says he is down to 2; Florida and FSU. He said Florida holds a slight lead over FSU, South Carolina and USF. He will visit Florida on January 7th. He will then visit South Carolina, USF and finish up with FSU. With Derrick Williams going to Penn State, we could really use this guy. Go get em Urban!

OJ was recently interview by TheTerritory?.org's Dave Peters. He was asked do any teams stand out, Murdock said that Florida and Tennessee are the teams that appeal to him the most. He added this about his teams, “I love Florida. Tennessee and South Carolina are right there now also.”
Sounds like good news for the Gators.

In a Rivals AMP Video Update, Murdock states that Florida is his leader. He also says that Morley's HS coach is trying to get him to go to Tennessee. Sounds weird. But, expect Murdock to be a Gator.
