Note: Information comes from teams across the Scout.com Network as well as the Rivals Network.

12/30

- WR Nyan Boateng (Brooklyn, NY) will visit UF. His favorites include UF, Michigan, and Nebraska. (Gator Bait)

- Continuing the NY connection, Lavar Lobdell, WR from Syracuse, NY, will visit UF as well. Lobdell, 6'3 195, lists his favorites as Miami, USC, Florida, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, and NC State. (Gator Bait)

- Kerry Bonds, DE from tallahassee Lincoln, has named a top 2 of Maryland and West Virginia. Look for other teams to jump in the mix, as his stock is on the rise. (Rivals)

- Chris Chancellor, CB from Miami, has a final four of FSU, Miami, Florida, and Oklahoma State. (Gator Insider)

- CB Guesly Dervil, Jacksonville (Ed White), has a final 3 of FSU, Alabama, and West Virginia.

12/29

- OL Calvin Wilson will decide between LSU, Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State. He will visit UF on 1/28. (Gator Country)

- Justin Mincey will only visit FSU and is "100% committed". (The Territory)

- RB James Davis has stated his leaders are Clemson and Virginia Tech. He is still interested in UF, and his interest will undoubtedly go up if he receives an offer from UF. He will visit UF 1/7. (Rivals)

- Duke Robinson, OL from Georgia, has Georgia and Oklahoma as his leaders. Those are the only 2 teams he has visited, and will go to UF (1/14) and Arkansas (1/21). He will make his decision after that. (Rivals)

- Brian Cushing, LB from NJ, will visit UF on 1/23. He and his family have been excited about UF since Meyer had an in-home visit several weeks ago.

12/28

- Reggie Nelson still hasn't made a decision and waiting on a test score.

- Carlos Thomas WR/DB from College Park, GA is opening up recruitment. On a Rivals.com interview he says that Ohio State, South Carloina, LSU, Florida, and Georgia are the teams is looking at. Everyone is even, But, LSU may be down a bit with Saban gone. (Scout)

- RJ Jackson RB from Houston, TX says that he is still favoring Oklahoma State and Texas, But he said he will visit UF either 1/7 or 1/28. Will also visit Texas in January. (Scout)

12/27

- Reggie Nelson is still unsigned and undecided. Rumor is he is waiting on word if he must return to Kansas for the Spring semester.

- New kicker emerges on the board: Merf Trout from Turnersville, NJ (Gloucester Catholic). He plays RB, CB, KR, K, and P. UF is his top school, but no visit is scheduled. (Gator Bait)

- Tallahassee Lincoln DE Kerry Bonds is looking at setting up a visit to UF.

- Curtis Crouch is still planning on visiting UF, but it looks like he is favoring Oklahoma and NC State.

- Bryan Evans has now stated his favorites are: Tennessee, Georgia, and FSU. LSU and Florida have slipped in his mind. This is a complete reversal from 3 months ago, where UF and LSU were the only schools in the picture.

- Nick Kyles, WR from Georgia, seems on the verge of a commitment to Alabama.

-DeSean? Jackson, WR from Long Beach, has a stated top 5 of : USC, Cal, Oklahoma, LSU, and Florida. He has yet to visit USC (1/21) and UF. He claims there are no leaders. The other network lists Jackson as the #3 WR in the nation.

Louisville, KY DT James McKinney? has recently put UF in his top 5. This is mainly because of Coach Mattison. His top 5 are: Michigan, Nebraska, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Florida.

12/23

- Curtis Crouch, 6'6 325lb OT from NC, has put Florida in his top 5. He will visit UF 1/7. Other visits: NC State (1/14), Clemson (1/21), and Virginia Tech (1/28).

- OJ Murdock is looking at 2 teams: Florida and FSU. Florida is in the lead. OJ visits UF 1/7 and FSU 1/28, also visits South Carolina (1/14) and USF (1/21).

- Walter McFadden? has Michigan State and Auburn in the lead, with Florida gaining. Florida trails, but has not offered yet. (JG's opinion: Look for McFadden? to get an offer from Meyer/Heater in January and commit to UF.)

- Mike Ford, RB from Sarasota, has a top 2 of South Carolina and Auburn, with Michigan State 3rd. The Florida 5A player of the year in not likely to qualify, thus the lack of interest by the Florida schools.

12/22

- Derrick Williams committed to "The University of Penn State." (huh?)

- James Davis, 4 star RB from Georgia, will visit UF on January 7. He is undecided but looking for someplace to start as a freshman. James is the #7 RB in the country according to that other network. His leaders are Virginia Tech and Clemson; his other visits are to Florida and Alabama. His 5th visit will probably go to Kentucky. (JG's opinion: he won't start as a freshman, unless he goes to Kentucky...but something tells me a good team/school/winning will trump UK.)

- Gabe McKenzie? has announced his final 2: Miami and Auburn (duh!).

- Antonio Bass committed to Michigan.

12/21

- Richard Gordon, DE/TE from Miami Norland, is almost a sure-fire Cane. He visits Miami on 1/21, and might commit after that visit. He is also visiting USF (1/14) and FSU (1/28).

- Reggie Nelson STILL has made no official decision. (Although good info has come from armchair that Nelson will be a Gator.)

- Ryan Reynolds is still favoring Okahoma. He is also showing interest in UCLA and Wisconsin. No mention of UF in a while.

- Jon Demps has given a final five of: Miami, FSU, LSU, Auburn, and Ole Miss.

- Maurice Wells will decide between Georgia Tech and Ohio State. Those 2 schools have been his leaders for a long time.

- Bryan Evans' interviews seem to indicate a leaning to LSU. It is doubtful he visits UF. Saban leaving would throw a wrench in the mix. (JG's Opinion: if he vists UF, he will sign with UF.)

- Taalib Tucker, LB from Georgia and Ga Tech commitment, is visiting other schools. He has already lined up a visit to South Carolina, and is looking at Clemson and Ohio State. That leaves one visit open.

- Patrick Turner, 6'5 WR from Tennessee, is staying quiet on his choice of schools. He has visited USC, LSU, and Miami, so the safe bet is that those are the 3 schools he will choose from. He has stated that he has little interest in Tennessee.

- Brandon Perry is leaning toward Tennessee. Perry is a 3 star DT from Georgia, and has been favoring UGA until now. (scout.com)

- Chris Scott, 4 star OL from Georgia, has announced that LSU and Tennessee are his favorites. He is still interested in what Georgia nd Florida have to say, but is leaning toward LSU and Tennessee. (scout.com)

- Derek Nicholson, LB from North Carolina and younger brother of FSU LB AJ Nicholson, has narrowed his list to 4: FSU, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, and Miami. (JG's opinion: Miami?? How many LBs? can they take? Anyways, he is a Nole)

- Callahan Bright, DT from Pennsylvania, has 2 favorites: FSU and Texas A&M. He will announce on ESPN sometime near signing day.

12/20

- Big News of the Day: Josh Portis, 4 star QB from California, commits to UF. Read all about it on the Front Page.

- Jonathan Garner decommits from UF. Now looking at Georgia Tech, South Carolina, and Ole Miss. Seems to be favoring Georgia Tech.

- Calvin Wilson, mammoth OT from Hattiesburg, MS schedules a UF visit for 1/28. He has already visited LSU, and will visit UF (1/28), Ole Miss (1/21), Miss State (1/14), and Auburn (1/7) in January. Has no favorite. No problem to qualify.

- Kenny Phillips will not visit UF. He is favoring Miami (shocker!), and will visit Miami, FSU, and Tennessee. He has previously visited NC State and will not take a 5th visit.

- Antonio Bass will choose between Michigan and Michigan State. Michigan wants him as a WR, State as a QB.

- David Nelson, WR from Texas, will visit UF on January 28. He also set a visit to Texas. Nelson is still a soft commit to Notre Dame, but grew up a Texas fan and believes that Urban Meyer is the best coach in college football. He has previously visited Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, and Iowa.

-Desean Jackson,WR from Long Beach Poly, might vist UF. He likes Urban Myer a lot. Possible visit date is 1/28. He is also interested in Oklahoma.

- Brian West, 3 star DT from Texas, committed to Auburn. Gabe Mackenzie is also leaning toward Auburn, over Miami (big shocker!).
